As long as there's a good amount of mystery and conspiracy happening in the modern day timeline, I'll be happy ^^ I know lots of people didn't like playing as Desmond, but I found the connection between the past and present story lines to be incredibly interesting.
It's a new character. If it was Connor again it would have been an unnumbered game like AC:B or AC:R.

^They've shown a CGI trailer every year at E3 since at least AC2. I'd expect to see one, for sure.
I don't know where all these bugs were everyone's talking about. I ran into a grand total of zero issues (sans the occasional framerate dip) when I played through the game.

The only reason this is called AC4 is because it has a new main character. The jump isn't relative to the change in the game itself...

That's what people thought about AC3, but there was still plenty of city to explore.

Erm. Why not? AC2 said George Washington acquired an Apple of Eden, and this DLC looks to be the result of it. If they can tie it in to the existing story, why not take that route?
